How We Deliver

How Giftmandu Delivers Your Gifts

At Giftmandu, we aim to deliver every gift on the delivery date selected by the customer at checkout. While most deliveries happen as scheduled, certain factors—such as location and product type—may affect delivery timelines. Below is a clear explanation of how our delivery process works.

Delivery Inside Kathmandu Valley

All gift orders within Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Kirtipur) are delivered door-to-door by Giftmandu’s own delivery team.

  • Multiple items in a single order are combined and delivered together.

  • Same-day and scheduled deliveries are available.

  • Orders are handled directly by our staff to ensure better coordination and care.

Delivery Outside Kathmandu Valley

Orders delivered outside the Kathmandu Valley are processed based on the type of product and destination city.

Perishable Items

Perishable items—including (but not limited to) cakes, fresh flowers, and sweets/mithai—are:

  • Prepared fresh on the day of delivery

  • Delivered locally in selected cities

  • Delivered on the date selected at checkout, wherever service is available

Please note that perishable and non-perishable items within the same order may be delivered separately by different delivery partners.

Non-Perishable Items

Non-perishable items such as electronics, clothing, chocolates, soft toys, and gift items are:


  • Shipped from our Kathmandu warehouse

  • Delivered using third-party courier services

Important notes for courier-based deliveries:

  • Exact delivery dates and times are not guaranteed

  • We make our best effort to match the requested delivery date

  • In some locations, recipients may need to collect items from the courier office

  • Home delivery outside the Valley is not guaranteed when courier services are used

  • Delivery timelines vary depending on destination and courier operations

Cities with Preferred Delivery Date Availability

For the following cities, timely placed orders (typically 3–5 days in advance) are generally delivered on the selected delivery date:


  • Dharan

  • Itahari

  • Jhapa (Birtamod, Bhadrapur, Damak & surrounding areas)

  • Biratnagar

  • Chitwan (Bharatpur, Narayangarh, Ratnanagar, Gaidakot & nearby areas)

  • Bhairahawa & Butwal (including areas in between)

  • Pokhara

  • Birgunj

Delivery Time Commitment

  • No specific delivery time of day is guaranteed for any order.

  • We always aim to deliver within the preferred time frame selected by the customer or at the recipient’s convenience, wherever possible.

    Delivery Confirmation & Order Completion

  • Once an order is delivered:

    An order is considered completed once delivery confirmation has been sent.

    Same-Day Delivery Inside Kathmandu Valley

  • Same-day delivery is available within Kathmandu Valley, subject to order cut-off time.

    • Cut-off time: 4:00 PM (Nepal Standard Time)

    • Orders placed after 4:00 PM will be scheduled for early next-day delivery, even if same-day delivery is selected

    To receive your gift the same day, please place your order before 4:00 PM (Nepal Time).

    Delivery Exceptions

  • In rare cases, delivery may be delayed or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

    • Political strikes or unrest

    • Riots or road blockages

    • Natural disasters

    • Pandemics or emergency restrictions

    In such situations:

    • Delivery will be rescheduled for the earliest possible date

    • Customers will be notified promptly

    • Same-day delivery may not be available during these events
